Harry Kane Assessed More Deserve So Footballer than Hazard
London – Tottenham Hotspur manager, Mauricio Pochettino, called Eden Hazard as a great player and fantastic. However, he considers Harry Kane is more appropriate to get the best player award.
Hazard and Kane are equally likely to get two awards from the PFA (Professional Players Association Premier League) this season. They both entered the list of candidates for best player and best young player.
Kane appeared sensational with the Spurs this season. 21-year-old striker was packed 29 goals in 45 matches in all competitions.
Meanwhile, Hazard instrumental usher Chelsea Premier League standings. Belgian midfielder was recorded 17 goals and 15 assists in 45 games.
Pochettino not doubt the quality of Hazard. However, he considered Kane gives greater influence to English football.
“I thought Hazard was a very good player. He is fantastic. A great player. However, given the influence of Harry to English football is huge,” said Pochettino who told Sky Sports.
“Perhaps a greater influence than Hazard and performance. Everyone knows that Hazard is a brilliant player,” he added.
“However, I think there are too many people who suspect Harry Kane will appear like that in this season. I believe this is the difference,” said the manager of the Argentine.
