Spit Evans, Papiss Cisse Apologize
Newcastle – Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse after spat could face Manchester United defender Jonny Evans in the game last night. Regret that action, Cisse apologized.
Emotions explode after both players involved in the struggle for the ball before halftime in Manchester United’s 1-0 victory over Newcastle at St. James’ Park.
Evans then spat at Cisse, although not yet certain whether or not he intends thereby or just spit in the direction of the ground field. Cisse respond to upset before the turn of the Northern Ireland player spat it from close range.
“I apologize to many people today. First to colleagues setimku and the fans, the second to Jonny Evans, and the third to every football fan who saw the incident between me and Jonny,” Cisse said in a statement on the official site Newcastle.
“I react to something that is not good. Sometimes, it’s hard not to react, especially with a hot moment. I always try your hardest to be a positive role model, especially for the fans who are still young, and yesterday I’ve let you down.”
“I hope the children who play football for their clubs and schools at the end of this week will know better than revenge when they’re angry. Maybe when they noticed the problem is they will not imitate it.”
Referee Anthony Taylor has sent his match report but believed he did not see the incident so that the FA will conduct an investigation. However, both players are likely to be charged.
Punishment is usually a suspension spat opponent in six games. But if Cisse charged with the punishment he will grow, after he had undergone a three-match ban at the start of this season.
